Health and Social Care

We aim to foster the curiosity and care of the mind, body and spirit of individuals in our society. We aim to do this by having created a calm learning environment and a curriculum designed to explore social, physical and physiological needs of individuals from all backgrounds and of all ages in our society. Through expert delivery, we ensure that our students have a good understanding of various health and social care settings which will prepare them for further studies or employment within the sector. Health and Social Care will equip learners with sound specialist knowledge around understanding and applying the fundamental principles and concepts of the rights of individuals, person-centered values, effective communication and how to protect individuals in health and social care settings. Students will develop learning and practical skills that can be applied to real-life contexts and work situations. They will be able to think creatively, innovatively, analytically, logically and critically whilst developing independence and confidence in using skills that would be relevant to the health and social care sector.
