Science

The Science team strive to share our passion for the subject with all our students. We are dedicated to encouraging the development of positive values and attitudes such as curiosity, honesty, respect for evidence, developing perseverance and tolerance of uncertainty through the study of science; developing positive values and attitudes to health and adopt a healthy lifestyle; show an interest in the study of science, appreciate the wonders and complexity of Nature, and show respect for all living things and the environment; be willing to communicate and make decisions on issues related to science and demonstrate an open-minded attitude towards the views of others; appreciate the interrelationship of science with other disciplines in providing societal and cultural values; appreciate the importance of working safely in a laboratory and be aware of the importance of safety for themselves and others; develop personal integrity through objective observation and honest recording of experimental data; develop a habit of self-reflection and the ability to think critically; recognise the importance of lifelong learning in our rapidly changing knowledge-based society; and recognise their responsibility for conserving, protecting and maintaining the quality of the environment for future generations.

Kent Catholic Schools' Partnership

The Kent Catholic Schools' Partnership was created in 2012, at the request of the Archdiocese of Southwark, to support and further develop Catholic education in Kent. We currently have 28 schools in the partnership, 23 Primary and 5 Secondary, all of which are part of the Archdiocese of Southwark.
