Sixth Form Admissions
Please note enrolments for 2025 have now concluded. Applications for admission to our Sixth Form in September 2026 can now be submitted via the Kent Choices platform. Applicants should expect to be called for interview in January/March, subject to the timely return of reference requests.
Application Process
Applications for entry to the Sixth Form in September 2026 open on 3rd November 2025 and close on 31st March 2026. Applications must be made via Kent Choices (including existing Ursuline College students).
Year 11 - Kent based students
Please apply via Kent County Council’s Kent Choices website, your school will provide you with a code to access the platform.
Year 11 - Applying from outside of Kent
Please apply via Kent County Council’s Kent Choices website. You will need to create an account, complete all the required information fields and then apply to Ursuline College with your choice of courses.

Next steps...
You will be contacted by our Sixth Form House Manager, Mrs Crompton, and invited for a one-to-one interview with either Mr Joyce or Mrs Hall. You will be told at the end of the interview if you will be offered a conditional place. All communication will be via Kent Choices.
If successful, you will then be sent a conditional offer via Kent Choices showing the courses you have selected during your interview along with the grades that you will need to obtain to access those courses.
Occasionally you may be asked to re-select a course if you have not met the entry requirements, or the course is no longer running.
Students that select us as their first or second preference will be invited to attend our Sixth Form Taster Day in July 2026.
Application Timeline
- Applications open via Kent Choices on Monday 3rd November 2025.
- Sixth Form Open Evening - Thursday 13th November 2025, starting at 5.00pm with speeches in the sports hall. The event closes at 6.30pm. Free parking is available on the opposite side of the Canterbury Road and on Hengist Road. If you are unable to attend, please contact sixthform@ursuline.kent.sch.uk and we will send you an electronic copy of our prospectus.
- Interviews for internal applicants will take place during the normal school day.
- Interviews for external applicants (students from other schools) will take place during one of our two interview evenings in either January or March 2026.
- Ordering preferences - Kent Choices will contact students - Easter 2026
- Sixth Form Induction Day for Offer Holders - July 2026 (we will communicate details of this to you via Kent Choices).
- Sixth Form Enrolment Day: GCSE results day (Thursday 20th August 2026) 9.00am – 11.00am (internal) and 11.00am - 1.00pm (external).

Induction Pack 2025-2026
These forms require information from both incoming students and parents. It is therefore vitally important that these forms are filled in whilst together.
All students are expected submit every form, with the exception of the 16-19 Bursary Application Form which only needs to be submitted by students and parents applying to access the fund.
