Mathematics

The Mathematics curriculum aims to ensure that pupils develop a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, fluency in key skills, and confidence in applying their knowledge to solve problems in a variety of contexts. This will ultimately help students to become logical thinkers, effective problem solvers, and critical reasoners who can approach challenges with curiosity and perseverance. Through the iterative nature of mathematical learning - exploring, testing, reflecting, and refining their methods - pupils are encouraged to become resilient and independent learners who value accuracy, creativity, and the power of logical reasoning.
